Bio
As a Freshman in
2013: Pitched in 11 games for the Ravens, including one
start...Logged 15.1 innings and put together a 1.76 ERA...Allowed
six runs (three earned) on 11 hits, walked 12, hit three batters,
threw a wild pitch and struck out 12...Recorded a .208 opponent
batting average (11-for-53) on his way to a 1-1 record...Made his
collegiate debut, came on with two on and no outs in the seventh,
struck out two to strand both runners, went two innings, allowed
two unearned runs on one hit and a pair of walks, threw a wild
pitch and struck out a season-best three against Chestnut Hill on
2/22...Pitch a hitless 11th, walked one, hit one and struck out
one, but was stuck with the loss thanks to an unearned run in the
first game of a doubleheader against Wilmington (Del.) on
3/2...Took over to start the ninth, struck out one and worked
around a two-out single to finish off a shutout in the second game
of a doubleheader at Dowling on 3/10...Made his first career start,
went four innings, allowed one run on four hits, walked two, did
not record a strikeout and did not factor in the decision in the
second game of a doubleheader against New Haven on 3/17...Came on
with one on and two outs in the eighth, wound up stranding two in
scoring position with a strikeout, pitched the ninth as well after
the Ravens rallied for five runs to take the lead in the bottom of
the eighth; in all, went 1.1 shutout innings, allowed one hit,
walked one and struck out one to pick up his first career win in
the second game of a doubleheader against Massachusetts Lowell on
3/30...Pitched a scoreless eighth in a blowout victory, struck out
two and gave up a hit in the second game of a doubleheader against
New Haven on 4/7...Retired the side in order on just eight pitches
with one strikeout in the eighth in the first game of at
doubleheader at Merrimack on 4/28.
